Business Tips: Greatness Is About Obsession | Meeting with Nik Stauskas
Awesome Tip: Greatness Is About Obsession | Meeting with Nik Stauskas
Super awesome to get the opportunity to sit down with Nik Stauskas for this meeting. For those of you that don’t know, Nik is a basketball player in the NBA and was also on the fourth episode of #podSessions. I think that this meeting helps clarify my definitions of patience and eating dirt for any of you that have been a little confused about what I’m trying to get at… Let me know what the most insightful aspect of this meeting was in the comments below!!

Thank you for saying “it’s the game for everyone, it’s just different circumstances.”
GO BLUE!!!
Love the nick cage paintings
This guy knows people inside out
So we all just gonna ignore the Nicholas Cage memoir
Great interview!
Had the chance to finally watch this yesterday, commenting today. I found the conversation between Gary and Nik about patience in pro sports interesting. Had a thought on patience in pro sports. Find your role. If you want to accelerate your career in pro sports (or any industry), find your role. Everyone has a role with whatever team they are on, whether its the starting point guard, coming off the bench and sparing THE GUY a few minutes or being the lead gen guy for a sales team, discover what you're good and and be the best at THAT. Don't focus so much effort and energy being the point guard when you're a 7'1" center or 6'8" power forward. Don't try to be the closer when you're nervous in front of people. Be the best lead gen guy because you're a cleaner on the phone. Crush your role and people will take notice.

Amazing Video
As a huge nets and gary v fan this made my day!!
Really love this style of video, short focused 1 on 1 advice
Nik Stauskas is the GOAT!
The one thing you always have control over is the knowledge of the subject. Depth of knowledge and skill is a symptom of obsession. Gary diggin the #podSessions!
Thank You
If we made a drinking game out of the amount of times Nik says "like" I would have been belligerently drunk 2 minutes in.
I feel your pain on that hair loss brother. The price of the hustle I guess haha
Working hard isn’t eating dirt. I like that shit
It’s crazy to see how meeting after meeting day after day Gary boils down his knowledge to all types of people including the ones watching. Astonishing how much you give. Thanks Gary.
Stop interrupting him!!!!!!!!
@GaryVee can you do a Q+A video with your wife? I'm curious to know what it's like to be married to an entrepreneur, how do you prioritize your kids/wife?
Are we all just going to ignore the fact that they're in a fucking NICOLAS CAGE meeting room?!!?
Thanks to you and your team for sharing this conversation, Gary. It was a helpful wake-up call that even people who have "made it" still have to grind if they want to advance in their career.
Side note: like you with the Patriots, I couldn't help but hate on Nik a little for being a Michigan man (Ohio State grad over here). 🙂
The amount of times Gary Vee and his guest use the word LIKE is astounding. Like seriously! Drinking game?
