  1. The consultant entered the meeting already with a fixed idea of what the answer is. There is not much thinking, re flexion, nor even conversation, he is just defending his original point. Marketing is sales engineering, requires a scientific, engineering, data driving mentality approach

  2. … about the battle against non-tax-paying pizza places: would a campaign focusing on how the taxes protect the employees work? Like, make the consumers aware that the brand/company is loyal to their employees. One way the company is loyal is paying the required taxes, so their employees and the business are taken care of by the government? I don't know how taxes work in Finland, but… Would this idea work at all?

  3. It's cool to see how he first pitched his concept then he realized he hasn't listened from those guys yet, took a step back heard their arguments, figured out he was right then went all in! great to watch.

  4. they dont get it with digital you can test your compaigns just target specific places and see the result than make a decision to go bigger, even facebook do it when they have new product, and they soulg focus their marketing on showing that their pizza are better quality than competitor

Gary, this is the only thing that really impacted me. You have the tools and ideas to impact the world in a larger scale. You should promote a type of veganism because we are not the only animals who suffer on this earth. You should think about it. Animal cruelty is one of the biggest problems that society faces. The big companies like McDonald, Burger King, shit like that, dont give a fuck about our well being and they are literrally destroying our planet. I know, you know this stuff but you should put content towards this problem. I would really apreciated and i know many people would too. Have a great life. Exito.

  6. It's interesting to see how in other parts of the world, the idea of ACTUALLY conversing with your customers is soo "looked down upon"; They were primarily interested in conversion metrics and were kinda dumbfounded to realize that social media marketing actually introduces another variable to the table; How much do you ACTUALLY give a fuck about your customers

Also, sounds to me like someone scaled wayyy too quickly and are now on shaky grounds as far as expenses and profit go, AKA dehh golden handcuffs hehe

Like it sounds to me like their main problem was "how can we use our marketing efforts to make more money so that we can hang onto all our locations without being forced to downsize and get rid of them" XD

Also, I'm not sure they really have 90% brand loyalty. Their brand is probably extremelyyy well-known, but if they're having to look at their cost-per-sale metrics and make promotion decisions based on that, something tells me they're not as hot as they made themselves out to be.

Either way, that was good advice coming from Gary. I would add that, with FB advertising, they're able to actually find and acqure NEW CUSTOMER BASES, instead of relying on their present customer base to keep them alive and praying to dear God taht they don't leave you from someone else, and that's something that most people don't talk about.

Finally, I also found something he said interesting; he mentioned group dynamics…feels like there's a storytime behind that one

  7. Wow. These guys are still so much into the old worldview! They are trying though but its like a veil that has been there for too long, they cannot see the world in a different way! I am amazed, and wow there is so much opportunities for us now who are able to look at things from another angle. . All these traditional companies have missed the train!! Now they are desperately trying to jump up.. but it has a high speed already… Thanks for the interview, it made me think of even more business opportunities. There are so many opportunities out there, I literally dont know where to start!
