Gotta be straight with you Gary i know Jessica a bit and would have enjoyed some questions about her ability to drive her employees which many are male. also would have loved to hear more about her obsession with being more "malelike" as most people dont know her story from that perspective. thnaks for the free content as always though Bro…dont mean to be unappreciative as i totally love you and ur stuff…. just thought u could have drawn out some really cool stuff from her as i think shes an amazing entrepreneur. I saw her one time (late 2016) and told her i had spent 4 years selling women into miss usa and used her and her story to get them to commit and inspire them to be like her with the company kids and hubby… after i told her that she looked at me with sad tired eyes and said "maybe you shouldnt" thats what makes her awesome.
Notice how her body language changes from beginning of interview to end of it. For example she is leaning away from Gary at the beginning of the interview.
Conformity with certain traits viewed as traditionally male, such as misogyny, homophobia, and violence, can be considered "toxic" due to harmful effects on others in society, while related traits, including self-reliance and the stifling of emotions, are correlated with harm to men themselves through psychological problems such as depression, increased stress, and substance abuse. Other traditionally masculine traits such as devotion to work, pride in excelling at sports, and providing for one's family, are not considered to be "toxic".
The concept of toxic masculinity is used in the social sciences to describe traditional norms of behavior among men in contemporary American and European society that are associated with detrimental social and psychological effects. Such "toxic" masculine norms include dominance, devaluation of women, extreme self-reliance, and the suppression of emotions.
She is so boring – compared to Gary – it was painful to watch. If she wasn't 'pretty' I am not so sure people would care about what she has to say… No disrespect – we have to play to our strengths and she has done that so kudos to her… She can go into ANY business and be successful just based on look and celeb status so really nothing most of us can use or do to make our business grow… I am out at the 13 min mark…
Think about the fact that 1000+ videos ago if you are watching this now, you had no idea who Gary was… look at what everything he has done, not just with the companies he has built but with his content and Personal Brand, has put him in a position to do in terms of bringing value to people who would never have had access to it….
Cool to hear Jessica break down the genres from a career-building perspective within the first 5… deciding on action for the most potential leverage… knowing that things like romcom can have side career options like make-up/beauty brands. I like the systems-approach.
