11:41 LMAO!!!
Don’t you have to file taxes on this, or no?
When you understand the grind it becomes the most interesting thing
Everyone watching this…. this is a waste of time I did this put them on eBay Mercado Poshmark offer up and no one wanted to buy my stuff A.K.A he probably held onto all this stuff he bought so that mug and all the stuffed animals that he bought is problably still in his house
I f@#$ing love the lady yelling !!!!
Can't insult me with extra money!!!
Killing it with that big Olaf 0.50 easily turns into 30 – 40
What sucks for me is say I have zero to start with nothing at all. eBay will only let you post so many items before they will charge you and without any start up money your journey ends right there. Amazon js the same, you can't sell for free. Then you're screwed and have to use Craigslist. I mean they have those apps as well but really the feed back from those isn't great I've had quality stuff at below average price and gotten zero hits. Then with all of those apps and CL everything needs to be reposted every 2-3 days as you move down the list.
This is 2019 now tomorrow is 2020-You could probably make $1k a week during the peak of the season no doubt but once you start doing the math some things change so it wouldn't come out to $52k a year but I do think you could get about 60% of that. Like in NJ you can only garage sale so often and a certain time of the year so let's say 6 months of the year it's possible to find garage sales what April through Sept so 6 months. Out of those 6 months you have 24 Weekends which comes down to Saturday's only because no garage sales are on Sunday so you have 24 Saturdays to play with to make that $52K a year. Out of those 24 Saturdays only certain Saturdays out of the 24 will be prime meaning only certain weekends will you see "All Town Sales". And most of the towns plan this ahead of time during what is usually warm weather days. So out of the 24 you might have 1 "All Town Sale" a month within driving distance which means you are down to 6 Saturdays now with only 6 Days of the whole year to have days like this where you get a lot of good supply. So you have 6 that's 6 total days a year to get your sure fire yearly income. And if any of those 6 days are bad you are screwed or if you don't know what you are doing etc. So the majority of that $52k Income you think you can get is actually $6k because you don't have an "All Town Garage Sales" every week. This is why no one does it and can sustain any kind of income from doing this. So you definitely can NOT make a living or full time job doing this it's literally impossible even if you live in Florida with garage sales all year what ends up happening in that case is less "All Town Sales" and many more random spread out none all town sales on top of the fact since garage sales are 365 days a year everything is diluted and the finds are not as good and less common. I notice that when I go to Texas you might find some stuff there now and then but very few "All Town Sales" because it's year round good weather. And most people don't even do this part time because once they get into it and find out they know nothing at all and need to learn more than they ever could imagine along with retaining that information all at the same time then they decide it's definitely not worth it. And I have even found out the people who do go out part time once in a a great while hardly find anything at all because their knowledge just isn't there on what to look for. On top of selling things is like an art itself and people are lazy. The learning curve is very hard in this hobby and most people find that out the hard way. I had no clue years ago when I got into it that years from then I would finally figure out the catch is you are always learning and you never get to the end. I stuck with it and it's fun to me but I do understand why most people quit doing it eventually and I definitely know you can't make a living doing this alone you would have to do many other ways of reselling on top of it to make it work and if you do that and find your way then it's possible. But all town garage sales and making a living off that just doesn't work. Maybe it would if every single town and suburb has All Town Sales but that just isn't the case. Cheers
you are too funny.

Does he just resell these things on ebay n craigslist n stuff? Cuz i mean yes all these things are worth more and hes potentially making profit, but unless he pays for shipping costs and packaging n someone actually buys it, its still only potential profit, right? Idk.
I think the seller that sold the cherished teddy bears was the one the won. Those figurines don't sell well and are breakable during shipping. that's a hard pass.
I have a question. Is this a scam if the other person doesn't know how much the item is worth and you're buying it and selling it for more?

Hi Gary, I'm starting to turn furniture.
What I'm running into now is that I'm having a hard time finding furniture that is good shape and still cheep.
Have you noticed anything about the furniture flipping trend. I think it's best its peak and people are asking really high prices for old junk like furniture.
I love painting.
And I love furniture.
Any advice on how to navigate a oversaturated furniture flipping market?
Thank you for your time!

How much attention do you put on understanding basic supply and demand of a market you’re in?
Personal opinions do matter, however, what matters more is statistics, data, solid facts.
Do your reseats properly, understand the cost and resale value, understand supply and demand because once you master this, you will profit from whatever work you’re doing.
