Awesome Tip: The #1 Thing to Add to Your Social Media Strategy | Monday to Monday with Jessie Reyez & Murs

For this Monday to Monday conversation, Jessie Reyez came by the office to meet with Gary and talk about her social media strategy. The main takeaways that Gary had for her were about quantity of production, the best platforms for her to focus on as a musician, and the importance of reading comments. There is also a surprise guest appearance from Murs towards the end so stick around for that. Check out the timestamps in the comments for all highlighted moments… Enjoy!

  1. First off I love everything Gary was saying.. I feel the passion and he's 'lit' jks jks ..

I love Jessie Reyez but she looks high slouching on the table like she can't be bothered to be there. It's a bit uncomfortable to see her like that, especially when the new people came in toots awkward.

  2. Mr Gary, my name is rickie. I am 23 years old . I came here to your Facebook today as I have seen tons of your content and some is universal some tailored to others. I may not get a response from you but if you don’t try you fail already right? I have an issue. And it’s something that maybe you CANT help me with. But I have noticed more and more since I was 18 and first on my own, I have a tendency to start a job, flourish, then lose my passion for it. Because I look 10 years from now and see the same me doing the same thing for the same money. I’ve been a crew lead I’ve been a piss on. For some reason I always get a feeling, and this feeling hits me 10, 20, 30x a day, that i need better I want more I’m destined better. And not without working for it by any means. But people call me selfish or greedy or stupid but I know I am capable of more I just don’t know how to let my drive flourish instead of my physical labor. When I wake up I think future when I am at work I think future. I see the older gentleman around me who have worked 6 years and are barely making 18-19 dollars an hour and I lose interest. That’s time wasted, working toward nothing. I guess at this point I’m blabbering, I am just lost sir, and I don’t want to look back and say “fuck I wish I would have figured out where to apply the ambition, drive, and dedication to myself that I had when I was 23”. I want to look back and say “at 23 I made a choice that changed my whole world”. I know you get blown up everyday with messages like mine, fuck I’m sure some are more well written and even more enticing. But I’m betting on a penny, if I don’t try I already fail. If you have any shred of advice that you could gift me. I’m already 100 steps further than I am now
