  1. Hello! This interview was awesome and it gives me some motivation! I have a question though… I am a co-host and entertainment reporter for a radio show (We Talk Weekly). We are on Spreaker and just approved for iHeartRadio. We have great content, which I'm sure everyone says that about their own shows (lol). We record and film our podcast at a radio station. We edit the footage and post it on our YouTube channel and upload our shows to Spreaker and iHeartRadio. We were just approved for iTunes also. I wanted to know if you could provide any insight as to how we can increase our following and visibility on iHeartRadio and iTunes? Thank you so much!

  2. Gary Vee is the Ozymandias [Watchmen] of the Internet, able to do an interview and handle his social media at the same time!!! Ever saw his Hot Ones interview???
In one scene, he is shown viewing a wall filled floor to ceiling with television screens, each showing a different image, in order to demonstrate his ability to pay attention to each one simultaneously. From the juxtaposition of these numerous images, he is able to deftly paint a picture of the current political and social climate, from which he can predict future trends and make plans accordingly. – Watchmen Wikia

  3. Ok, he's talking to me, 57, 2nd part of life, woke from a dream an epiphany..been consuming this new venue night & day for the last 3 months…I'm probably one of the few who "don't do" social media..was too busy with life!
Where's that video Gary aimed at 47 yr olds (& beyond)??? Its time to get in the game

  4. Well, the internet also created a lot of extra middlemen. Pretty much every platform biz model is a middleman. For example, Uber is the middleman between drivers and passengers. Facebook is the middleman between content creators/marketers and end-users. Other examples include Airbnb and Google. So I do not fully agree with the description of the video…

  5. Two books that have changed my life, Tim Ferriss' "4-Hour Workweek" and "Crush It". I read Crush It while on a business trip to investigate a new market (I met Justin Hayward, lead singer of the Moody Blues, at the Cleveland Airport after they got inducted into the RRHOF on that trip) . My niche is a "passion industry" . It's also an industry with people with higher incomes, and, more importantly, they have an incentive to spend money to be competitive. I see very large competitors in my industry, but they are missing key elements, such as truly helping people be more competitive, and not maximizing video. I'd rather be passively informed or entertained and watch a 2-3 minute video, instead of having to read a blog post. Bering a disruptor is my goal. It's gonna be hard work, looking for cracks, but I think I'll be amazed at how fast it will happen and I'll have companies in my industry begging to partner with me. Key? It's already something I fucking love!!!!

The decision point <finger snap> for me was a recent divorce. The negativity of "it's stupid" and "when are you gonna quit" is gone.

The story of the "Mexican fisherman" in "4-Hour" rings true for me. Don't need to be mega-rich, just want to be able to live life on my terms. Having the freedom to spend 2 weeks following around the Tedeschi Trucks Band on the road, for instance. Or creating a charity.

God Bless you Gary for sharing the excess from your overflowing cup!!!
