  1. I was going with a friend and his cute dog to a entrepreneur ( fitness and car niche ) for a conversation and it was my first time I met Someone like that. Great experience, It gave me motivation and Since then I don't drink alcohol. I want to be fitter

  2. Ordered to my office from a lunch studio downtown flint. They forgot ranch – I gave feedback to their square survey. Next time I went in they gave me a bottle of ranch to keep at my office just invade they forgot again. Lol

  3. I love how you show that you also have faults. Too many people are worried about others using their faults against them but i think seeing you show your faults encourages me more.

    #QOTD :
When I started seeing that people subscribed on me on YouTube. About a few months ago.

  4. Hey Gary Veee! πŸ˜€ Awesome episode! Thanks for sharing the thoughts!
#QOTD: Last summer, attended an introduction day for freshmen at the university there i studied and held a speech about my experience in the field as a constructing architect. Really humbled i had the occasion to give something back to the community. We engaged really well! πŸ˜€
    Cheers,
    D.

  5. QOTD/A: I had the excitement of being featured on Hypebeast via Instagram for some of my body painting work. I had an influx of people go to my Instagram profile – very cool!
HOWEVER, my account was looking ratchet at the time. It was all over the place with no clear theme. It was not appealing at all. So I lost out on a great opportunity to capture some of those leads.

Ergo, to remedy this, I have since defined my page's theme and cushioned it with lots of my work, almost daily. It's lookin' mighty purty…

  6. What a treat to see two of my favourite social media super-stars – @GaryVee and @BrianSolis. Thought leaders and new media pioneers, these guys really know their shit and yet, they hustle to keep on top of trends. I have huge respect for their talents and achievements – how they built their personal brands, communities and media empires. The #AskGaryVee Show is amazing, and what makes this episode even more awesome is Brian Solis' new book #XtheBook which is on my table right now – as I type this. All the very best Brian Solis on another bestseller. And a very Happy 40th to my mate Gary Vay-ner-chuk. Rock on, guys! Much love from NZ.

  7. Statement of the Day:

Confused. I thought the Question of the Day was done with?

    Question of the Day:

Recently I was having a conversation with a good buddy of mine and I came to realize how important the word humility is to me. It's been something I've been striving after for a long time and I literally couldn't name what it was that I was after. As soon as I realized it was humility, I was so overjoyed, yet humbled at the same time hahaha Great ep, +garyvee

  8. #QOTD: I went to a specialty running store recently, Red Coyote in OKC, as my wife and I have starting to get more serious into running. They analyzed our running gait using a camera behind a treadmill, and the salesman was super helpful and gave us very custom advise and fair deals. We left the store having spend ~$250 and felt like we had the experience of a lifetime because of how custom and focused he was on making sure we had the right gear and advise for our specific running goals. He even threw in an extra pair of socks because I told him I had started getting a blister and told me to try these because it would fix it. So cool.

  9. Excellent guest Gary! … I really like Brian's work, specially his Revolution series. I've been inspired by Brian to pursue also Digital Anthropology.

My best recent good UX: from watching the intro video until completing the hour or even more of code: https://code.org/starwars

After I hit the "Post" button I will complete the order in Amazon (as I started looking around as I was watching the video). I am in need of this for a proposal in the non-profit organization I work for so this comes really handy. I may tweet Brian some thoughts/questions.

  10. Gary – the best part of this was your intro about how you've known Brian for so long and what a quality human being he is. Very real and authentic. Having interfaced with and read Brian's books your comments were spot on. Thanks for the episode.

  11. #QOTD – Brian, I thought this was a product-related Q so here's my answer; a family member bought me a car, new off the lot back in 2013 when I was first starting to get traction as a new agent… So I flew one-way to Alabama to get a bit off of the sticker price (no, it wasn't my $ but I still didn't want to waste it)- got a hotel room for a night and picked up the Legacy- something about the new car smell, the odyssey of going to get it, and the winding road through Tennessee back up to Michigan was a huge thrill. I never have time to travel but I enjoyed the hell out of that splurge. Also, not sure if I even saved any $ by doing this since I paid a bigass registration fee upon getting my MI plate– plus the stupid UNRO plate with the Michigan M. =D

  12. For sure my greatest experience was a Discover Scuba dive "class" I did in Belize. The divemaster was patient, caring and intune with what everyone was experiencing and able to help us overcome whatever fears and difficulties we had. I'm afraid of Jaws while swimming in lakes. We actually dove with a school of sharks! As soon as I got off the boat I was online finding out where I could get certified back home. The certification was an entirely different experience. Had that been my first experience with scuba, I probably would have dropped out after the first class. In defense of the instructor, and a heads up to anyone who skips the discover dive, the cert class is designed to teach you how to avoid/survive in dangerous situations. So, not an incredibly pleasurable experience but necessary!

  13. #QOTD That's such a good question. (+Brian Solis – I'll be ordering the book too)
I'm going a slightly different route to most answers.
During my morning walk with my two little dogs, I've made it a fairly regular part of my week to simply give some small donations to the people on the street who are out there less fortunate than I am & begging for money.
Just this morning, one of those people, a lady slumped in a wheelchair whom I've donated to a week ago, stopped from playing her flute to complement my dogs.
I know it's only a small gesture, but the fact that she recognised us and stopped what she was doing to give some positivity back got my day off to a good start.

+Gary Vaynerchuk for what it's worth I had no trouble hearing, not sure what the fuss is about? There have been problems in past episodes, but Drock was good enough to apologise. Great episode the way you're mixing it up has been a big plus to the show. Thank you for all your help.

  14. Hey Gary and Team.. Love first, can't get enough of what you're doing. Thank you. Can you get a mic for your guests? I find their audio is weak and it's disappointing. So much work and gold here and I'm sad it gets lost.

  15. a great experience with a brand/service would be Unbounce. They're a software company who let you build landing pages, but they're such a human company when it comes to interaction and support, they made me feel like they're the future of how business will be done and how to win.

  16. The first time I meet Brian was in London 5 years ago at iStrategy, he inspired me so much then I discovered Gary and since then Brian & Gary are the people that I always mention whenever I speak at a conference and mentioned both of them in my book πŸ™‚
Keep doing what you guys are doing, both of you are amazing.
Whenever Gary or Brian launches new books, I always buy them to read plus send a couple to my clients πŸ™‚
