  1. To whom it may concern:

    0:56

Q: If someone wasn't raised in that in environment with that self belief how does one develop that for themselves themselves?

"Surrounding themselves by people that do it for them or consuming content that does it for them. Penetrating peoples' skulls and fucking reframing their game—their fucking mom told them they're a loser, I'm telling them they're a winner. I think I can out-market their mom. Their mom had a big headstart and a whole lot of like emotional like fucking physiological advantages but guess what: give me fucking eighteen months of your time, give me two hours of your day, I'll make you realize fuck your mom and go do your thing. [smiles devilishly and nods head] That's what I'm up to."

  2. Devastatingly honest, at times, brutal, sharp – very pointy indeed – and often insightful. Gary, you may put off some with your style but if one can stick in there, you're rewarded with gold dust. Content that always seems to achieve that much needed lift and makes you really think. I've become a Gary Vee listener/consumer. Now to commit and take action.

  3. I'm 36, so even if it is too late (which it isn't) I'd rather believe in myself and do what I want than spend the next 30-50 years complaining and the last 1-2 years of my life regretting everything. Life is a one time gift.

  4. Our thought process is so damn similar yet I have a serious blockage when it comes to making money for myself & I can't stand it. I'm a photographer but I have negative emotions attached to the money part of my business. I know I'm good at what I do but I don't like taking money from people who I've connected with which absolutely hinders me because I make it a point to connect with everyone. Knowing is half the battle but I've yet to clear that hurdle indefinitely.

  5. Thank you for the #firstinline program. It's great, and helps me hear some much needed truth quickly. Being self-aware and confident in yourself is crucial. Learning not to be competitive with others "building your own tower, rather than destructing other buildings to make yours the tallest" is important to success.

For performers, auditions may seem difficult and overwhelming. I started audition when I was 14 and heard many criticisms and judgements. Not only being confident in yourself, but realizing it's a learning experience, and you have the opportunity to sing to 1-4 people in a room with a great accompanist is a GIFT. Once performers realize they are "unstoppable" and get to sing to other musicians, a person becomes positive about the process. Thank you for #facts .
