  7. I'm working for 4/5 people right now, just so I can put into myself and create my own shit.
    We gotta go thru the deeper shit- in order to walk in the shallow shit, but know one thing: the shit never disappears. But you can reduce the shit- that is for sure.

I've been listening to you for 40+ hours for the past three weeks while I'm at my day job. Instead of listening to music where a song get's stuck in my head, I listen to your videos and then you're words of wisdom scream in my ears even when I'm not listening!   34. +Gary Vaynerchuk ! what kind of engagement metric do you recommend me to pay attention to youtube and Instagram? For me is easy now because I don't have so many followers. Like in Instagram I look for comments more than likes but I saw a lot of comments that look like automatic, like just emoticons or common words like awesome or congrats. Like not related to the post so I am counting just the ones that are related to the content. When do you say metric you mean like a number saying is good or bad, because I think the number can be hard but I can have like a mental sense of my engagement (And that is more important to me) "metric" you know what I mean (but I think a number can be easy for other people to understand, I don't really care about others but maybe I can need a metric for that some day )?

  36. I found Gary about 2 weeks ago and in that time he has awoken the hustle that lives inside me and thar lives inside all of us. I'm only 17 but I've realised this is the time to start the rest of my life, with the access we have now a days with the Internet, instant messaging, being able to gather information about any product within seconds and build a plan around it as to how to sell market and flip it is absolutely amazing and the fact that I've never seen this before is absolutely insane! I'm planning on starting Garys flip challenge as a basis to build the foundation of my my future. it'll be a long road, I know that, but it's a road that I must take, a road that I need to take. As Gary said "motivation is nothing without action", today is when I start my action.

  41. My experience with most people at C level in an organization …they deal with things from way up, they know the Mission and the Values (clouds) of the company. But most high level execs can't speak so specifically on the operational details (dirt) of their business at Gary's level.
