  1. Part of middle ground between documenting vs creating and the reason behind document vs create and the Q&A as an example of a middle ground was so helpful. Thank you! Can tell you put a lot of thought in your advice to is–much appreciated.

  2. Document vs Create was a crucial break through but Q&A has been my bread and butter and it has worked really well. However adding to that just having the conversation with my audience and not doing reality tv but expressing my thoughts in the form a vlog has been massive for engagement.

There is always a middle ground, you just have to go in the trenches and look for it.

  3. Glad that you are back, Gary. You have been a big influence ever since I've graduated last year and hopped onto entrepreneurship. I refused to get a 9-5 job, which is what my parents wanted and when I started youtube back then, nobody was watching. So I took your advice and just focused on documenting instead of creating. Now I'm at 600 subs. It's not a lot but on those days when I felt like giving up. I will remember what you said and just keep hustling.

P.S. I'm not Karen from Kansas City but I'd like to visit someday.
