  1. Don't take his advice. If someone fucks with you, don't get even with them, but make sure you leave a bad review online and never do business with them again. By doing that, you are helping the other poor guy down the line from getting screwed over by this person. And if the person did the opposite and gave you great service and never swindled you, make sure to leave a raving review online. Everyone should get what they deserve.

  2. Being nanny for a Russian family. They were the most loving family I ever knew, saw my value, and treated me with respect. I wasn't hired help. I was family. ♥️ The next job paid almost double but didn't respect me and eventually fired me because I could never reach their expectations.

  3. I'm glad you talked about the quirks that bother people straight up. On some videos it would be distracting but people function or work at a certain speed and it's not a deal breaker. I think the bigger you grow it will matter more to a large viewer base. Anyways your speed in this video was great and I kinda felt like you were talking more direct. Just do it both ways and keep alternating.

  4. I was allowed to propose and conduct time studies in a manufacturing environment without a degree. I was basically allowed to practice performing an engineering task on the job during my gap year before I even started college. It was awesome.

  5. My Best work experience was my first sales job ….when i was 16yrs old, I found a lady that sold candles… She gave me a box of candles, said get in the car and off we went door to door to every business near by … She taught me in minutes not to fear rejection not to worry about being told NO, nor to worry about a no soliciting sign. "All they can do is tell you to leave" she said … I made a sell the first try. She built my confidence to the point i wasn't afraid to walk into any store … I walked into a car dealership, went to the first man at a desk I saw. I asked him to try my candles, he said he wasn't that interested in candles… i said Ohh but i bet you have a lovely girl friend that is! with a big smile… he smiled and started smelling i gave my little price pitch while pointing out the ladies favorites . At the end asking his favorite …. he looked up at me and said "You are GREAT salesman and he was a salesman his self"…. i have not ever forgot that …He bought Red Hot cinnamon.. that job showed me what I'm natural at, as well as a natural high i hadn't experienced before with work. It also showed me what makes people want to buy i had 30 repeat regulars and 3 stores that carried our candles… at 16 years old it was awesome! Thank you to Stoney Creek Candles!

  6. Positive Work Experience: I was 18 and got a part-time job at this bakery and the owner really invested in me. It was the first time I felt like a stranger listened to me and it was amazing. Because of her, I did so much that I initially thought I couldn't do.

  7. Hey man, my most positive work experience was working at Amazon. I worked there in 2009 when I was 18 and I loved it. I worked okay but I talked to people and got fired for low numbers on picking. So I came back in 2016, told Amazon that I would be one of the best they had ever seen. 8 weeks in, and I was top picker many times. Proved to myself that I can be good at anything I just need to do whatever it takes (something Brian Tracy said in an audiobook I listened to years ago) This was one of my best experiences in my entire life and now Im starting my own ebay business. Going to put in those long days of work into this now. Thanks for the content Gary. Great stuff

  8. Wtf Gary, I am from eastern Europe and my grandpa told me I am an old soul. I moved to the US when I was 7 and been hustling ever since, I am 20 now. I swear I am you from the future.

  9. I am starting a new job on Monday. It's a nice raise and a great opportunity with a company that is entering a hyper-growth period.

I've been to the office twice this week just to pick the brains of the owners and understand their goals and concerns. By coming from a place of Being of Service, I've already been able to help them find a new level of clarity for moving forward.

  10. #QOTD a The 2nd Example is: work culture that enhances the instructors and our international students all year long
… At my current workplace, there's a family of support developed and it's something that starts AT THE TOP of our division. The division director has set a tone of support and empowerment that all the direction of each department maintain throughout all programs.
We are encouraged to grow and develop, to bring in our ideas, to make suggestions and to participate in the implementation of our suggestions. We meet up once a session to interact socially away from work, our work meetings are like family with jokes and supports, just nothing but love and it's something that improves OUR WORK and our classrooms. We teach international students at the university and our students feel at home and nurtured as they engage with a new culture and continue their education. I feel it's a direct relationship to the culture of work we have here.

  11. #QOTD I have 2, one of which is an organization I started with 3 friends of mine. And with that one it was positive due to the respect and collaboration and the impact we made on the teens, schools and community. Also because it was seeing something through from the initial vision to a five year action plan that impacted 4 schools and 2 cities. One of the original founders continues that work, while the rest of us have moved to other places and continue our work in various ways.
