Awesome Tip: The Best Way to React to Your Failures Is With a Smile | Tea With GaryVee

How you handle your failures says a ton about how much you love what you are doing in life. In this episode, Gary talks to “Impractical Joker” star, Joe Gatto, about the importance of failures and why you need to embrace them. If you don’t love the process, even when you fail, then you likely are not truly in love with what you are doing in life. If you are still figuring out what you like and what you want to do with your life, ask yourself what is something you love so much, that even when you fail or it doesn’t go as planned, that you still want to do it.

  1. When ever I get negative comments toward my address. I say “thank you for the compliment!” I feel good when ever I say this, and I don’t get offended at offending comments after saying this. Try this it works! People are not expecting you to thank them for negative comments!: ))

  2. Thanks man for all that you do. I've been terrified for the past week about doing my work for some reason. I've been doing well until I started second guessing amd not doing the work. But I dove Into the work today and things started to click together and im realizing I had nothing to fear.

  3. bwahaha Dustin wow, so this is your extra lucky year , year of the Rat! cool. And so kind that you know Gary's birthday by heart!
This last conversation, Gary, with Michelle was quite different because you didn't seem to be in a hurry for the next guest or the next meeting, there were lots of silent moments in it and those moment made the conversation to have an even bigger impact. Long story, I know you get it and no doubt other viewers felt that too. That came in like a wrecking ball! You think about switching to sports card a lot! 'You never really know whether you’re making the right move or not.' Who knows! Either way, stay or go, you will be happy with your decision because of your free mind. ok bye

  4. Failures aren't a bad thing. They are a chance to see that the route you are going isn't right, that you didn't understand what was involved in what you were doing, or, a lesson to understand that you need to develop your skillset .

'Failures' are a chance for improvement just like the fact that "problems' should be seen as challenges.

  5. Finally pulling the plunge!!! I am putting the fear of judgment aside and going ALL in. Posting ONE VIDEO every day from today. Can't thank Gary for everything he's done for us.
