Awesome Tip: The Source of My Motivation

Gary Vaynerchuk builds businesses. Fresh out of college he took his family wine business and grew it from a $3M to a $60M business in just five years. Now he runs VaynerMedia, one of the world’s hottest digital agencies. Along the way he became a prolific angel investor and venture capitalist, investing in companies like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Uber, and Birchbox before eventually co-founding VaynerRSE, a $25M angel fund.

The #AskGaryVee Show is Gary’s way of providing as much value value as possible by taking your questions about social media, entrepreneurship, startups, and family businesses and giving you his answers based on a lifetime of building successful, multi-million dollar companies.

Gary is also a prolific public speaker, delivering keynotes at events like Le Web, and SXSW, which you can watch right here on this channel.

  1. I just listened to this episode on the podcast! This was my favorite question of the episode because it's one of my favorite topics, though I certainly approach it differently than Vaynerchuk.
Currently working on my social media engagement and presence, and I can definitely say that the little that I've done is getting me A LOT more traffic and comments than I used to get. Much love, thanks bb.

  2. I literally need to watch this every morning to get my day going. I love the gratitude part and seeing your actual schedule was CRAZY! Sometimes I allow my mind to believe I should feel sorry for myself because I'm "doing too much", but I now realize that I'm not even doing half the amount that I know I could be doing with the same 24 hours we all get in a day. Of course everyone is different and just because 1 person can work a 19 hour day doesn't mean the other person can (or wants to), but the point is for us to stretch ourselves to our own individual limits and keep pushing ourselves to experience progress on a daily basis. I just subscribed to your channel after knowing about you and getting exposed to your info for a year and a half. Maybe I wasn't ready for you when I first saw your material (I actually thought your aggressiveness was abrasive or too harsh for my liking, but I absolutely love it now and see that it comes from a place of wanting to be better, wanting to give and wanting to hustle like no one else). I feel a strong connection with you now and I'm excited for all of the value I'll gain from you in 2017. Hope to contribute value to you and your followers someday too.

  3. Gary my man I gotta say I think the thing I like most about you is that you tell people "If you work a 9-5, have fun and don't complain, you're my hero". It's such an underrated message these days. I think if you keep preaching to people to define their own version of success… you can make a serious dent in the world. People really need to hear what you're saying… not only is it okay to not be an entrepreneur but it's amazing to not be one if your heart's not in it. The individual is more happy, wastes less time, and society gets more happy people in general. great work
