  2. That's true. That's the fucking deep shit in the Eastern Bloc, not only in Russia. Me too was always thinking about how in America everything is limitless, so fuckin many possibilities and people are crying. They genuinely don't understand what really is deep shit. That's the reason why there are so many success stories of people going in America and starting from the ground up with nothing, or like 100$, and become even millionaires, or invent something or whatever.
When there is not so much shit blocking you, you can become something more and make something great. I always wished to make them realize that.

  3. 17:58 "We got to make people happy earning 81k a year"… Gary, that's almost 3x the median workers salary…if we want people be happy and successful,we have to pay them enough to provide for the necessities in life. Our entire economy if fucked up and no amount of "redefining success" is going to occur when its not possible to live a reasonable life for 50% or more of the population

  4. Oh… I remember. Little me being 5 in 1985… Poland. Watch this: I'm standing in a 3hrs queue for a piece of bread/ meat/ coffee.. you name it (in a blistering cold in December) with every possible relative, who had access to so called "bills", which gave you an allowance for a certain amount of goods to buy. A person with a kid, had a little bit/ double size more allowance…yay! Soo.. 3hrs with my mom, 3hrs with my grandma, 3hrs with my aunt, 3hrs with my grandpa 😀 Man, did I earned my coffee share for the rest of my life 🙂 In a weird way.. I remember it as something quite positive. We were "working" together… spending time with my fam, which I never had enough of as a kid. Turn it around and make something good out of it 🙂 Gary – thanks for everything!

  5. Whoever titled this video is either a genius or the worst, or maybe both, because he doesn't talk about making $0 a year and happiness. I clicked so I guess it worked. I am deeply against that thesis btw, the poverty line and the state of pensions worlwide are my arguments, but since it wasn't discussed I won't go more into it hahahahaaha

Very interesting video otherwise. This video has some things I hadn't heard before from Gary, or at least that were worded very differently.

His talk about how he "found himself" and the ages at when it happened, how his "fitting in" was fitting with everybody, super insightful. Also he had massive awareness as a kid, that's dope. Can't relate to that hahahaha. To the bit about the period in which he found himself came about because of the transition from "knowing everything" to suddenly shit not working, that I can relate though.

The part about next economic collapse thing was tough to hear though. I guess he's been saying this for a while, that he can't wait for the economy to collapse so that the fakes get weeded out, that sounds almost positive. But uttered with more weight to the words, it sounds much more worrysome. If he really means the thing about the next crisis being comparatively worse due to mental health, and I think he is for real, then shit might really hit the fan. Not sure how will we have to prepare ourselves, I guess having some financial liquidity/an emergency-opportunity fund and also (at least part of) the mental strength and communication abilities that Gary's showing will be good. Unfortunately, and I say this as a Gary Vee fan, being as pushy about mindset as he's being is IMO either not realistic, or equally as pandering as some of the fakes that will fall. I think that in this boomy period that Gary talks about that type of talk is accepted but when shit hits the fan I'm not sure if telling less privileged people that mindset is everything will be a good idea. Circumstance is key as Gary himself says, and economic downturns usually bring a lot more people below that poverty line, and even though there are probably some "deserved" cases, there will be innocent victims.
