Business Tips: When Should You Quit? Perseverance vs Delusion | DailyVee 503
Awesome Tip: When Should You Quit? Perseverance vs Delusion | DailyVee 503
I had a really great conversation with Josh Peck about perseverance and delusion.
People always ask me, “when should I give up in business?”
I always ask them back … “How long have you been at it?”
If it’s anywhere under six months (and it usually is), I have to try hard not to laugh.
When you’re building a business around your passion, six months is an insanely short period of time.
But sometimes … the answer is 2 – 3 years. And they still have no traction.
When that’s the case… the answer’s a bit more complicated.

Daily Grind Energy! Thank you Gary!
The queen of England has her family, and the royal palace and they pull their resources…I like your advice for moving in with parents, still trying to make sure I let go of my ego, but dang you have hit it on the head. I feel that if we all did that, instead of buying into individualism, we could make some progress at untying this KNOT of pride depression and need for acceptance from others. I feel scared to think like that because I don't know where it will take me, but I also don't want to be a burden after looking back at how much my parents helped already. Maybe I feel I wish I would have started that thinking back when I was a kid growing up, helped the family instead of just being a bill for them. 🙁
More like the Russion Humbler!
My friend just started working with this guy!!!! Super amazing! Congratulations John!!!!! @teamgaryvee
You should NEVER quit. As long as you're happy with what you're doing, who cares about money? Just be happy and grind it out
Fascia!!
Squint Boss approved.
How do you spell "fasha?". I can't even Google it
Does anyone know what Gary mean by "VASYA" , when he is scratching his back?
I guess it's not just about the one more try itself that becomes the successful one, but the mindset of that try. If you're thinking I worked so hard but it's not gonna work but what the heck I'll do one more, you relieve yourself of the pressure of having to do it and therefore you succeed. Because you can now be you!
Getting to that mental state earlier prolly does the trick, but many need the work to get to that specific state I guess, state of just enjoying the process, no matter the result:)
GARYVEE is the man!!! He has inspired me to many things like 1. Make my own channel, 2. Grind and take his advice. His talks really work this is an inspiring man right here so if you aren't already subscribe to him. He's inspired me to make my own content and if you want to check it out and support me then it would be highly appreciated.

Hi +GaryVee , two year closet fan. 3rd?? Comment on Youtube ever. I finally found my "in" to THANK YOU. I'd like to send you and your current trainer one of my fascia rollers for your back. I imagine all the sitting/traveling takes its toll. If anybody from the team can DM or email me I'd love to send one out as a thank you for all your content which has probed some good internal dialog and debate. ryan@roller.fitness @rollintofitness http://www.roller.fitness
PS – My socials need some serious work I know, I can't say I take your advice here. I listen to the "be true to yourself" type advise
Thanks again Russian Rumbler ! (you got pretty gitty with that one)

I've always quit when there's an absence of growth to be had. Often leaving behind the success that came with it. I feel I've learned a lot doing this but feel the need to start something new that I can finally derive success from that I'm willing to keep. My current objective is money get. See where I am in 24 months! I don't watch all your shit GaryVee but I gain some deent insight through the ones I pick up. So, thanks for that man !

When to quit : Never
If worse comes to worse and multiple years pass by and you’re still failing because you aren’t seeking knowledge from resources such as people that have done what you want to do , or online resources then level up, if you’re failing after doing that and you tried you 100% then move it down your priority list and keep it as a side thing. Move on to something better for you but always go back to what you spent a fuck ton of time on. Only quit if you can’t control the outcomes.
I quit after I failed 3 years at trying to succeed in engineering school. Do you think it was a bad idea to perservere so long and quit ?
This man killed Oprah smh
