All too often you can get caught up in the mundane. It’s far too easy to forget that just a decade ago it was infinitely harder to start a business. A decade before that, it was even more difficult.
Here are 5 reasons why Rockstar Entrepreneurs are living in the best time ever…
1. Connected.
Sure. You can complain about being tethered to your smart phone. But do you realize how much easier it is now to connect with opportunity? From research to direct communication with partners and customers, you have everything you need in the palm of your hand. Literally!
2. Mobility.
Do you HAVE to be in one place all the time? Not unless you WANT to. How cool is it that we live in a time that you can take your family to some beach destination for a whole month and your business goes where you go? Sure. It may mean you do some work here and there, but think about how flexible your life is with this freedom to roam.
3. Scaleability.
Want to move into new opportunities? You can at very little cost. In the modern era, bootstrapping is easy. Trying new things is easy. Testing profit centers is a matter of clicking buttons. No need to raise capital. No need for loans. Just try it. When you find what works, add fuel and keep going.
4. Entry.
I’m not sure if you recall the days of having to go through a series of hurdles to start a business. I do. Even simple research used to consist of going to the library. Are you old enough to remember microfiche? Today, just go do a search and grab a domain name. Not too hard. And if you want to test something, buying traffic isn’t so hard either. Focus groups? What’s that?
5. Speed.
You’ve probably heard it before. “Money Loves Speed!”
Truth be told. We all love speed. Why should money be any different?
Combine all of the above and you have something so powerful. Speed is the rocket fuel of success. It’s the medicine that cures all in your business.
When you realize the simple fact – you have the power to start, grow, and succeed with your business without major obstacles – your appreciation will only grow.
In other words… You have no excuses. All you have are reasons to be in high appreciation for being in the right place at the right time.
