  1. I get it- but isn't there something to be said about planning? About first impressions? About quality of content? How do you get people to follow you if you're pumping out garbage? Just my thoughts. I get the main point, though- I could waste time trying to make something appear perfect, when genuine real-time work might be better…. thoughts? (P.S. I was in no way implying Gary pumps out garbage, I was putting out my thoughts on why I plan and ponder)

  2. Do video blogging
    Talk about process
    What you love

Every minute was something have a long term legacy big picture always wins. Believe in what your doing 100%

You don’t want to have a book or 7 points or your legacy but something more tangible like honey like documenting.

There’s no excuse to not talking to the world.

  3. This is the video forced me to put my very first video. Stop caring about what other people think.

Anyone here in the same boat? I am documenting my fun journey of building my online shop.
    Let’s connect 🙂

    love from Japan !

  4. document, don't create.
Because creating takes a lot of effort and it is complicated.
Because good content, videos, writing etc etc you also need some talent and you will be judge by a different set of authors with way higher standards than the one youtube has.
Document don't create because there is much bigger false sense of security in documenting, so you might think your work is better than you think it is.
Not everyone can make it, not everyone has the skills to make it, and anyone that says the opposite of this is lying to you.

  5. I can't say how many times I've told people a lot of what you preach, like building up rather than tearing down and getting people to respect you enough that they don't want to disrespect you at work, and I was laughed at so many times. I was like a lot of people when I first started trying to listen to you a few years back, I thought you were just a North East asshole, then I started listening to your core beliefs and I can't even describe the freedom you've brought me to be myself for once in my life. I'm documenting my journey up through a sport on another channel, and though it's a more obscure one it is up for Olympic consideration for 2024. I've set my goals high, but I have some time to build to my strengths and manage my weaknesses accordingly. I hope to share my thoughts and experiences with many people as a source of inspiration and motivation that they too can get up and live their dreams. I was terrified of 30, but it is just the start. Cheers

  6. Kinda weird, lately I've been thinking I need to completely forget about social media and sharing and just get to work and create something. Doing stuff vs talking about doing it. I guess this is in the frame of success through social media though?
