Gary Vaynerchuk builds businesses. Fresh out of college he took his family wine business and grew it from a $3M to a $60M business in just five years. Now he runs VaynerMedia, one of the world’s hottest digital agencies. Along the way he became a prolific angel investor and venture capitalist, investing in companies like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Uber, and Birchbox before eventually co-founding VaynerRSE, a $25M angel fund.

The #AskGaryVee Show is Gary’s way of providing as much value value as possible by taking your questions about social media, entrepreneurship, startups, and family businesses and giving you his answers based on a lifetime of building successful, multi-million dollar companies.

Gary is also a prolific public speaker, delivering keynotes at events like Le Web, and SXSW, which you can watch right here on this channel.

  1. Dammit I love you Gary! Always keeping it real. In a world of so many people trying to make it big, and the sense of pressure that comes with that, hearing you champion self-awareness and really just focusing on what you're good at is so refreshing.

  2. I'm glad you made this one. For a while I saw "I can't do x that you can do, Gary, how do I compensate?" and you're totally right. Emotional intelligence is also about knowing who you are and knowing what works for you, as well as what doesn't. If you like to give big grandiose presentations, then maybe technical speak isn't for you. If you're pretty monotone then maybe giving presentations isn't for you at all. If your delivery is quite awkward, then maybe humor isn't for you.

  3. What you talk about in this video, has been the biggest gift from you to me at this the right time in my life. I've tried a couple things on my own and even restarted my dad's old business with him. Struggle and didn't really get anywhere. Your self awareness and rare talk about truth made me comfortable and able to admit what I needed to do to get back on track and happy.
