Gary, I like you, I follow you but man… what’s the point of not letting this great man talk? Hope you learn something from the comments.
The Warren Buffet of movies
Gary you gotta check your ego. Let the guest speak.
Goddamn the interviewer is annoying
Great guest Gary! Getting book
he looks like Warren Buffett LOL
Gary Vee is the reason our Agency owner started our full-service talent agency and left the agency he worked for at the time. We watch and listen to Gary Daily. So as a bunch of talent agents him interviewing Michael Ovitz literally made our millennium. We hope you can do Ari Emmanuel as well. Thank you so much Gary and Mr Ovitz.
I like Gary and all but he needs to let his guests talk
Gary you are the man. No discussion!!
It so cool how you met him I'm so happy for you!
Amazing person. So much wisdom to share. However, this interview could have been so much better. This was actually a bit painful to watch. I know Gary didn’t mean to be rude or disrespectful, as he was just excited, but it really came across this way. I came here after seeing Tom Bilyeu’s interview (which was extremely well done, he asked great questions and allowed Michael to speak and share profound insights). I hope Gary will read some of these comments and rewatch this interview for future improvement. However, I appreciate all the wisdom Mr. Ovitz had to share, I will be reading his book.
I am sad that the movie industry seemed to have changed again. It is the big companies that decide what will be done and all the creatives have to follow to get their movies done. We need something like the times he talked about again. Where creatives, writers, directors, actors, cinematographers and all the people involved in the creative process get together and have that leverage against the big studios again. (There are only three left. Disney, Sony and WB. We need an era of creative freedom again.)
Ovitz seems like s good guy
I guess he is complicated
Ha
Is ovitz a member of bg?
HIS BEST SHOW EVER WITH THE MUTHERFUCKIN G.O.A.T YOU BISH YOU
JESUS shut the hell up and let Ovitz talk he is the star not you, dear oh dear oh dear, how to ruin an interview, what a complete amateur!
This was really great! Thank you
someone please upload the 92Y interview of Michael Ovitz with Bill. Michael Ovitz was a maven at the right time and place. Who is the Michael Ovitz of the present time?
If you know Gary at all, the amount of respect he shows for Michael should alone be a huge hint on how much you should pay attention to him and try to learn from him.
Gary needs to stop interrupting! He barely let Michael talk!
Hey it's the guy from Up
He probably gets that a lot
U stopped urself from cussing in front of him, respect must be out of this planet
This is f***ing great. Lots of great history to help shape the future. Definitely getting a copy of this book. (Camera crew: look into getting a neutral density window film for Gary's office…there's such a great view out there to enhance the visuals of interviews, but it's always BLOWN OUT. yuck. super affordable solutions out there…walk to B&H and they'll hook it up. lol. )
Most powerful guy in Hollywood… Another Weinstein?
He's a nice white guy
Did Gary talk more than Michael Ovitz? I didn't get anything out of this. Ya know, Oprah's got a podcast and her guest speaks for 30 minutes and Oprah isn't even on camera.
It would be awesome if Gary could actually let his guest be the center of attention or at least be professional enough to actually listen after he asks a question.
This would have been much, much better if Garry let Michael speak more than one minute instead of cutting him off every 20 seconds. This is perhaps one of the most annoying and terribly executed professional interviews I have ever seen including the call slipping and interrupting. Just about Michael was delivering deep profound knowledge he got cut off almost every time. I think this interviewer can learn a lot from Tom Bilyeu. Their styles are different, but at least do not jeopardize the efficiency of getting the knowledge out and the flow of the interview. It was painful to watch this all the way through.
hollywood is america’s brand? Hollywood is a very scary creature as we can see many people have overdosed and all the scandals have erupted from years of dark and twisted behavior. consequently breeding a very shallow image of what the generations are looking up to. there are far greater stories to tell and represent America versus letting the rich and elite dictate what we see, hear, and do.
Im also having an out of body experience. First time learning of Michael Ovitz. Crazy!!!
Gary… let the guy talk lol
I wish these interviewers would let their guests speak. I already know what Gary has to say, I want to hear what Michael has to say.
