50 today. Thank you for this.
I watched this video years ago along with "50 second plea to every 50 year old out there"….I took your advise then and I'm still living it every day!! My 3 kids (18,20 and 21) are blown away that i'm up-to-date with all the "social media's" and there's no end in site!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE DAILY REMINDERS of how great life can be if you're focused!!
I'm 65 and the good news is that I have a better understanding of my business now than I did when I was 50. It's easier for me to drop the hype and connect in an authentic way with my audience. It's not the struggle that it was before, and I'm enjoying the work more. I have no plans to retire, because what would I retire to? I love my work!
I needed to hear this, at 50 I'm always thinking that at this point I could go at any time, and I shouldn't think like that. I think a lot of it came from a long marriage that did not end well and now I feel like at 50 what kind of decent relationship could I possibly find at this point
Just turned 50 Gary and yes Im looking forward to my next 50years. Thank you for the inspiration.
I'm still level 50 in this one MMO I play, I have a lot yet to do.
This should be true for any age … if you haven't followed your dreams yet … every day counts. Regardless if you are in your 30ies, 50ies or 70ies … One day of happiness is great than 10, 20, 30 years of sadness. #discover #believe
68 and starting again.. why you ask?? because i'm not dead and don't like sitting on my ass!! as Gary might say, FUCK that!!
@51 I read your book Jab Jab Jab and it changed my life by giving me hope and direction to FOCUS and my accumulated knowledge and use it to build a legacy for my family. Never in my life would anyone could have convinced me that I would have to begin again, yet here I am 2 yrs later doing just that. AND MORE importantly finding my way to really know this is where I need & want to be. Grateful & gratified for the first time in my life. I am indebted to you Gary Vee, indebted.
Things is we've been told all our lives that we need to have it all figured out and our money made by 50. Some did, some didn't, but more then the age factor, its the bullshit "tape cassette" fueled by our 80s education, our neighbors , families, egos….and what "the system" wants us to believe that keeps this demolishing ideas running in our heads. So Props to you GaryVee for helping those of us who needed to hear this. I've been a new business entrepreneur for the last 2 years and i'm looking at starting a youtube channel about badass 50 year olds who won't quit. We have LIFE experience, knowledge, resilience, contacts, ideas, health, amongst others that younger kids don't yet have, there is no REAL reason to stop and get depressed!!, Like what are you gonna do? Sit on your chair reminiscing…for 40 years??? Just think about that…
I hope this content is right. But I don’t know If I’ll have a lot of time.left. I had a heart attack at 43 and have done the meds and eating healthy since. Many of the men in my family died in their 50’s so I hope i buck it, re Bucky that trend and live to 65 or even 75. Thank you for this content it gives me hope
You gave me the boost I needed!! Thank you.
Dead on Mr. V! The women in my family live to 100. I'm only halfway there.
I turn 51 this week… Thank you, Gary!
I'm 60. I own my own business. I'm expanding and signing leases with options for 20 years. I was doubting myself this morning Gary, so thank you! It's better to burn out than fade away!
Thanks man for this motivation.Ive been stuck with same company for the best part of 20 years I'm 46 and have started to think of working for myself via a booking agency(for the last year) that will offer me job slots.I just need a few more years to get my mortgage in the right place .But on my 50th birthday on 7th of July 2021 I'm handing in my notice and going to work for myself as a freelancer. Thanks you just kicked out the winding down mentally out of my mind. You just gave me the final push to do this.
I am turning 49- and this video is so needed. Fuck Wrapping it up. FIRE.
I'm motivated
Thank you, Gary! I'm 43 but I really needed this message today.
The statement that "You as a 50 yr old will live longer than your parents." is not necessarily true. Earlier this year (2017) the life-expectancy in the USA dropped for the first time since before WWII. What with the lousy, toxic food mostly with decreasing levels of nutrients, the general health of the Baby-Boomers is rapidly deteriorating. The early BBs (1945-60) will probably be the longest-lived generation in history. We were born during and just after food rationing. Our parents had limited access to foods such as sugar, making them healthy. The BBs born after that are not healthy. Their mothers started serving them TV-dinners and other "foods" out of boxes. Breast-feeding was "old-fashioned. Their fathers stopped growing a vegetable garden, so what may have appeared to be healthy; was not. When looking at BBs you really need to be aware of all this. I was born in 1948, in England, during food rationing (food rationing didn't completely end in Britain until Sept 1954). I am in perfect health, I have all my own teeth and only need reading-glasses. I still grow a vegetable garden which I manually dig each year.
Came over from Zerohedge. Subbed! At 63, nice to think there are some good years left!
Not if the end comes of this system.. that's coming.
Yes!
It can be really scary with no strong base of being an entrepreneur. Anyway, thanks for the motivation.
God bless you Gary
Turn 50 this year… Thanks man needed to hear that.
Turned 50 last week! THANK YOU You have NO idea how motivating your words are! You rock!
Love more content on 50+ year olds! Great message! You are inspiring me…and I am 54. Working on my side hustle!
Not feeling it Gary.

I'm turning 55 this July… I've felt like I was over the hill according to societies standards… Listening to this, I have tears… Thank you Gary for inspiring me to keep pursuing my dreams…
i need to know the song playing in the background!?
Thanks Gary! I just turned 50 in August!
Henry Ford was 45 when he invented the Model T.
Love u for this video!
I actually got emotional watching this and I'm 40 years old oh wait I'm 39. Gary if I had another child I would call him Gary love you brother
Thank you Gary, you just woke me up and gave me 50 more years to do my thing that I didnt do the first 50. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!
Hey Gary, I'm 57, and I'm now today creating a plan for the next 25 yrs… most people seem to think that's wishful thinking! No. i think it's conservative. Maybe I should go ahead and create a 40 yr plan..
Gary how do you deal with people who send you mixed messages ? They wonder why I am "doing nothing" and praise me
for the stuff I supposedly like when I just turned my back almost completely with the past. I hung out with the wrong circles
which actually hurt me. I am not doing "nothing" but simply overwhelmed by living.
There are people who want a job but are on disability so we are afraid of getting a job. I would like to be an entrepreneur but barely understand the computer. The internet is ageist!
Will be 50 soon. I am so sick of being dependent on my parents since I never learned life schools at the mostly useless
skills I went to…
Thank you though… I need a push…
I just turned 50 today and I seen this video. Wow, thanks so much for that little bit of inspiration and waking me up to the fact that I DO have a lot of life left. Fuck Wrapping it Up! Thank You!
This is an amazing message! And I just turned 22.
So true Gary – I just turned 50 and have been entrepreneur for more than 18 years. Nice kick – I will try think harder for new ideas. Keep up spreading your good spirit. I have spread your word to so many fellow friends 50+
Gary – Thank you for the video. 50? There are plenty of us in our 60s that are saying "Now, it's my time!" One advantage we may bring to the table is that we've grown not to care what anyone thinks so we have more time for "what do I want". Thanks again!
My mom just turned 46. (not quite 50 lol) but she is starting her own business. and I'm so proud of her. after 4 kids, a long divorce and lost of family. she is still fighting and going after everything she wants. I can't wait to see her succeed.
Hi Gary, may I use this video in a blog post of mine? As always, you rock 🙂
Just subscribed.. and I think this was one of the best video's I have seen on YouTube! Inspirational and so true!
Powerful!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really could have used this earlier this year. Fuck wrapping it up! Start it up! I still got 40 plus good years ahead. At least..Thanks, Gary.
Heck i turned 58 this year and I'm only just commencing the apex, new projects, new energy!
