  1. I'm workin' towards it! Everyday thinking about my family, how to be better with my peers, how to keep & CREATE unity in my team(s), and looking for what I'm after. I've said it before and will keep saying it! Ima work for you one day!

  2. The office looks like a white out I guess not many African Americans meet the qualifications and just 1 does not count but this dude said he had all black friends in college Typical white frat house fraternity is what it looks like with some white women for diversity

  3. Gary, if you say you don't want to be mean with people(as Steve Jobs was), how do you hold them responsible, how do you tell them their skills matter less and how do you fire them ?
I agree with your view that people MUST have "people skills" or emotional intelligence…, but how do you deal with situations when you have to be frank/direct with people. They will perceive it as being mean.

  4. I would love to intern for you this summer. Currently I'm going to CSUDH and have my AA in critical thinking. I live in California and work part time, but would be wiling to leave my job for the summer if given the chance to intern for you in New York. Just give me a shot and I won't let you down!

  5. would love to work with you one day, people have told me its dumb to vlog, or laughed at me, even the people that are close to me have not showed me support, but its all about doing what makes you happy. Your great inspiration Gary V

  6. I Fucking love this pardon my language. my favorite part about work is that conversational connection you can have with a random person. def share bearing this! because of you garyvee when I go into interviews for example had a vertical movement to interview on Friday for a retail store management position of 2.8 mil per year at the store. I went into it so human based and the job was old school business which I can't stand now. how hard is it for a God damn employer to understand I only need a smaller salary but damn it I want to wake up every morning and walk into work with the biggest smile on my face. I have worked 10 different career jobs and now I make close to 50k per year and to this day I have yet to achieve that feeling of pure happiness no matter how much more I continue to make. keep up the good work I got so much n could go on for hours

  7. Can't wait for your new book about HR and how you built your whole company just based around having solid HR and everything else a DISTANT second.

It's going to be your best book yet, I think you should just title it, "EQ"

  8. Hey man, I happened to find you a few months ago now, and have totally dug everything you are saying, but this segment more than any other one I've seen hit home the most. I wish more people got that its better to work with good people then all-stars.
