  1. How does everyone think I should go about this? I'm not as sociable as Gary and I find it draining sometimes. I still want to run marketing for million-dollar revenue companies. I'm definitely willing to improve my skills but does anyone reccomend anything else?

  2. No i really so think i should work on ur weaknesses so that people dont take advantage of them cz we all know this world is full of competition and u wont be able to make with weaknesses highlighted.

  3. You're missing something here, Gary. First of all, people only focus on the weaknesses of the successful. People who aren't successful, people who depend the most on these types of motivational talks, are usually people of no consequence, people whose weaknesses aren't interesting to expose. Society just lets them be where they are, deeming them not worth the effort. I feel these are the people we should be tailoring our motivational speeches towards, not those who are already successful.

    Secondly, and related to the first point, there are weaknesses you can and should change, and those you probably can't, ones that are part of who you are and might not even be straight weaknesses, but simply negative aspects of traits which are positive overall. So you should probably do your best to identify what you can and cannot change, and then act accordingly, imho.

I was in this "job training meeting" and they wanted to make us highlight and share our weakness I don't even think they asked to highlight our strengths then the person teaching it thinks they know everything its like awow it was a government funded program and you just want us to show our weaknesses what about our strengths I can see our improvments yea but yea we really need to be smarter in society how we inspire And motivate.
