Awesome Tip: Nothing Great Should Be Easy – Another Day in NYC as CEO | DailyVee 474
Nothing great should be easy. Even though I’m the CEO of VaynerMedia, I operate like a COO because I’m constantly in it. I’m in the dirt.. and I’m trying to get even more in it. Clouds and dirt baby. Clouds and dirt.

I was pumped to see who makes those pickles. I pay stupid money for those pickles and I regret nothing.

Nothing great should be easy! Energy! Thank you Gary!
I worked myself to the point of physical damage ,not from one motion but millions. As I was on the cusp of next level I got ripped off by the close friend and later boss … New gf really flipped on his narcissist demon side… Struggling to get back up but way more inspired with Gary saying everything I need to hear
Your empathy talk is only place I found hope that I'll make it.
Dear Gary, I write to you from the uk with a question… I took over my family business of 25 years, 3 years ago where we specialise in Hiab vehicle haulage, the company was close to collapse and my father asked me for help, I have poured blood sweat and tears into keeping the company alive and have now turned the corner and have nearly doubled our turnover in only 3 years without spending £1 on any marketing..! Reason for this is past efforts on my fathers behalf have failed, in old advertising, example paper adverts, magazines and so on.. what I did to survive and build was maximise revenue from existing clients and push them for everything by increasing service levels, making us the best at what we do focusing on us and not my competition, giving value for what we charge. However I feel we have now reached our limit for growth with our existing clients and to grow further we need to look to marketing.. I have recently started pumping money into google Ads which is returning us 25% average conversions but there seems to be a limit to leads for what we do, are big clients looking here or are they stuck with who they are currently using, putting up with the average service they get, and if they do decide to look for a replacement where are they looking… my question is.. how do you think social media could work for this industry, being one of the last industry’s in my opinion to catch up with modern day ways, can it work and in your opinion what would be the best route or platform for us to use in the UK? Our target audience is construction, hire industry, and manufacture. I have been following you for some time now and I see myself in you which is very inspiring, I have also referred you to speak for a UK nationwide insurance company called Coversure where I believe they will be contacting you to speak at a UK event in the coming months. So I hope they find you well. Thank you again and I appreciate your time in responding. Kindest regards Chris Jolly.

12:30 "Wait until the economy collapses…" It's hard to imagine a marketing agency being crashproof. But I'm all ears.

Nothing great should be easy. Scary how people think it comes that easy. Everyone wants to be rich and successful but don’t want to put the time required for it
Hi Gary! I got laid off in 2014 after getting engaged. I worked for 9 grueling months as a waiter at two restaurants while getting rejected for full time jobs, saving for the wedding, until I eventually talked my way into a job in digital advertising. I also read Crush It in 2014 and started a web design business. I had a few clients but eventually put it on hold b/c I work led such insane hours in advertising. In 2017 I got laid off for the third time in three years and decided I wasn’t going back to a day job ever again. In March of 2018 I ramped my web design business back up. My first client: Salt-N-Pepa. I started putting out video content on LinkedIn. I got leads. One of them was a super sharp young guy who wanted a website. Except, I knew in my gut he didn’t need a website. He needed a podcast. I turned down money and helped him create the podcast instead. For free. Now we are partners. Two months in and our guests include Ryan Serhant, Drama, Jasmine Star, Mikey Taylor, JR Rivera, plus Khalil Kain, Evan Carmichael, and Jesse Itzler are on deck for the fall. Plus some amazing people doing amazing things for young people that you maybe never heard of. This was possible because of you. So will you do me the honor of being a guest on my podcast? It would mean the world to me. http://www.schoolsovernowwhat.com. Much love and respect – Fenton
I'm sorry Gary. I LOVE YOU But I get to ask you to clarify. You SO OFTEN talk in riddles and no matter how many times I replay it it still doesn't sink in. Please help with this statement you made. "Most of the money I've made in my life has been between the delta of my marketing talent and the person's steak/stake of their product. I'm playing the arbitrage of the grey. Not of the black and white math." Huh? Please break it down into a simpler way to say this. I promise I'm not the only one. And you do this only all the time. Stop trying to impress with your intelligence. We get it. If you truly want to help, make your stuff digestible for the masses. Thank you
Help me please. Whats the name of the song in 2.25 min?
7:28 seriously solid thought! Gonna be doing this!
Admiration beats how much money you make any day. By all means earn as much as you think you need, but always remember that it means nothing if people don’t get excited when they see you.
Gary Vee just amazing content, congrats on the success you’ve busted your ass to achieve. It’s time for me to keep pushing my passions into my company. Building custom motorcycles cafe racer to be exact is the game I love to play. Will I make a hundreds of millions maybe! maybe not, but I don’t care as long as my family is taken care of then I’m good. I really appreciate the push you’ve given me without even knowing who I am. Thank you my friend. I know you hear this a lot sincerely with all my heart, THANK YOU!
First time I ever said this: Gary Vee: Boss of all Bosses
