Awesome Tip: The Most Effective Way to Market Your Business With No Budget

The holy grail to marketing that every business and personal brand should be leveraging daily is underpriced attention. A lot of Gary’s success is predicated on the fact that he has been able to find the largest audiences for the lowest costs. The great news for everybody today is that the attention is right now is on social media, where the cost to garner attention is nothing. Organic reach on social media platforms like TikTok and Linkedin is so high right now that you can post a video without any followers and potentially end up having thousands of people see it. This is why Gary is so bullish on small businesses and personal brands getting active on social media because the barrier to entry is so low and the potential gains are incredibly high. It’s not like 20 years ago where you needed to pay thousands of dollars to get a radio or television ad. If you consistently post and provide value on social media, you will build the same audience you would build by paying for ad space on TV and radio… So get to it!

  1. One of the principles that Gary is saying oftentimes is the “relationship with no”. Most of us are addicted to positive comments and when we get a negative one, our attitude and feelings go down.
Not getting to high( based on the level he’s at) and not getting to low when things don’t work out( business fail, negative comments etc) is one of the best things to learn from Gary.

I’ve also learned this in Christianity.
When people say good things about you, don’t listen and don’t let that words penetrate your heart.
Also, when people say bad things about you, do the same.

I’ve learned so much from you, Gary. Can’t say thank you enough.
Hope one day I’ll meet you.

    Wish you all the best!

  2. Every single business whether you're starting out or you're established has to keep content production on the top of the funnel, because this is what establishes brand, educates/entertains/informs your potential customers about what you do. This could attract a ton of leads to your business. So Content Creation > Lead Gen > Funnel > Nurture > Pitch > Revenue.

  3. Hi Mr. Gary Vee I need some immediate help building ads on a really strict budget. I'm not making any money dropshipping right now and so I need all the advice I can get to afford ads without spending a lot or at least very little next to free adverts. Thx!!

  4. Hi Gary, i just had a question, how does a an artist, of any kind or any other content creator market himself on linkedin , like what should be the context of the content , whatever that maybe ?

Btw , love ur work , and thank you for doing what you are doing.

  5. I was on Gary's show way back in 2009, I had no idea when I bet him my cookbook, Chef Keith Snow Harvest Eating would outsell Crush it, that he would become such as force in business….ya..I lost huge! This interview is one of the best I have seen, such valuable insight he is sharing here…I often have been critical (privately) about his cursing, because my kids loved watching "the wine guy" but I did not let them watch because I was shielding them from his F-bombs, but this is a great example of being who you are and dealing with the consequences…I find myself monitoring my speech so I don't say what I really mean, usually expletive-laced language, but Gary lets it fly, and I respect him for that…..trust me…this video is worth money…what he says is VALUABLE, getting this insight for free is highly valuable…Great stuff Gary…I still would kick your ass in tennis…that bet we have not followed thru on….oh well !!

  6. Hi Gary. Thank you very much for sharing so much content for free. I know I can find tons of videos about "How to use Linkedin" but I´d like to know from you, what videos/channels do you recommend me to learn about it? Or do you have a training about Linkedin? I already have funnels and webinars but I didn´t know that LinkedIn is so powerful! Thanks in advance.

  7. I'm grateful you spoke about something you felt defeated about. I'm in the mentality that I can capitalize on my emotional intelligence, but I know, now, in the future I still have to be grateful that someone else's business can take the thrown. (The main thing I want is to create a more compassionate culture, so the L can just feel like losing at a video game; petty.)

  8. Honestly though. As a "young" marketer who grew up with your strategy I have been almost shut out of the conversation at my company for being so social and brand forward. The "marketing" guys dont want to hear it and unless you are trad marketing you dont have a seat at their table. Incredibly frustrating, and also an incredible opportunity for me to do it on my own and win despite them.

  9. Going off of what you said about people taking a step back in technology, the camera industry has some amazing video and photography cameras. I'd love to get my hands on a modern DSLR or mirror less camera myself. Not just for photography, but for those cameras' abilities to record high definition video. That being said, there is a group of people that have taken a step back and are using film. I have an old slr Nikon and a VHS-C camcorder that I'm playing with
