Awesome Tip: Why Do I Always Sabotage Myself in Business? | DailyVee 520

People only want the results without putting in the work to reach them. Everybody wants a six pack but does not want to go through the pain or time to get one.

The reason I always sabotage my own businesses is because if I don’t put myself out of business, somebody else will. I love the pain of success more than the results. It’s what drives me to keep on innovating and try new strategies to find what works better than the last one.

  1. I made it in a DailyVee! Bucketlist check off lol (9:30). It's an interesting moment watching someone daily for over 2 years and then meeting in person. Memorable experience. A few things that made the trip worthwhile:
    1) Gary is as genuine a dude in person as he is online. The man went above and beyond to take virtually every selfie and answer every question. Stuff you don't see very often from very well known people.
    2) I did have the chance to briefly chop it up with Tyler and show love to D-Rock. Both dudes are about as humble and gracious as its gonna get. You are the company you keep. I left a copy of my book How to Network in College (plug!) with Tyler to show my appreciation for the team.
    3) Cool moment: I'm walking to my car after the event and catch 2 young guys off in the distance talking to Gary right before his black SUV departs. I overhear the conversation– Gary is giving them some straight forward advice that they probably already knew but desperately needed to hear in person. They're geeked. Gary's black SUV pulls off and the two fellas soak in the moment. They're so excited that I get excited seeing them so excited. I thought it was an incredible moment because never have I seen 2 young kids– kids that remind me of myself not but 5-8 years ago– get that excited about an entrepreneur who preaches patience, happiness, optimism, kindness, and hard work. That type of excitement from hard-nosed males is usually reserved for a rapper or some rockstar. It says A LOT about the impact this man is having on a generation of people, myself included.

p.s. Also– if you have yet to, go to Gary Vee events! Everyone you meet will be the most positive, kind, open-to-connect people on earth because thats what his message demands of the environment.

  2. Gary I’m a huge fan, would love to send beats to you and Mike Boyd for transitioning and background music for your videos— I definitely think my style in beats would help fit your daily vids. Thanks! Email: jallanbeats@gmail.com

  3. its unfortunate you had a tom steyer ad in your video. keeping politics out of your videos will ensure that you don't offend 50% of your audience. like your videos but let others dig in the garbage.
