Awesome Tip: Wieden+Kennedy Gary Vaynerchuk Keynote | London 2016

This is a keynote talk on the current state of marketing, TV, social media, and channel distribution I gave to executives at WIEDEN+KENNEDY one of the top advertising shops in the world.

for all of my keynotes on marketing in the year we live in watch HERE:

Gary Vaynerchuk builds businesses. Fresh out of college he took his family wine business and grew it from a $3M to a $60M business in just five years. Now he runs VaynerMedia, one of the world’s hottest digital agencies. Along the way he became a prolific angel investor and venture capitalist, investing in companies like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Uber, and Birchbox before eventually co-founding VaynerRSE, a $25M angel fund.

The #AskGaryVee Show is Gary’s way of providing as much value value as possible by taking your questions about social media, entrepreneurship, startups, and family businesses and giving you his answers based on a lifetime of building successful, multi-million dollar companies.

Gary is also a prolific public speaker, delivering keynotes at events like Le Web, and SXSW, which you can watch right here on this channel.

  1. With all due respect, even though I do not deny he's a genius. I think the talk was out of substance, not because he does not know, but I only heard his opinion that tv commercials are dying and data shows people consume more on their cellphones. However, I did not learn something new that I already know of. Honestly, I was expecting more.

  2. This is an unbelievable talk! Gary came in to one of the best branding agencies in the world and messed with their heads. I bet most people walked in skeptical of Gary V and everyone left that room rethinking what they believed.

  3. So so agree, so much truth @Garyvee . That's why i got out of mainstream ad agencies 7 years ago and jumped into creating experiential activations that help create memorable brand stories – connecting with real people. But, watching you every day has blown my mind about broadcasting across so many platforms. Thanks

  4. I loved this Gary – I watch all of your stuff and have started to notice myself thinking a lot "I've heard his before" (which is bound to happen), so really enjoyed all the new pieces of information in this talk. You're the best!

  5. Hey Gary, would it be ok if I start my first business from stealing your "flowers" from all free content you give in keynote's, and Q&A, and sell it to you'r ppl as "social media course" ??? I feel like this could be good hastle …
Kidding, but I still think about making "how to storytell like a boss" video based on comparison 2010 to 2016 videos 😀

  6. Thank you for sharing this. There's so much you touched on thst I've been trying to understand and express but didn't have a language for it. I was taking notes and now see how I can begin studying how to implement into my businesses how this type of change is happening. Mad love Gary

  7. holy fucking shit .. I just got goosebumps! I've been following you I've left comments on Facebook and Youtube … I watch one OF your shows for motivation daily, I finally juat realized my self worth my audit of myself is higher now because of watching all these… the goosebumps came for realizing people are paying you to go speak and talk to these people and I'm getting this all for free!!! Wow! I'm so lucky to have found your uploads!!! Wow

  8. Thanks so much @GaryVaynerchuk for the golden Keynote! Am curious where data was sourced from in 21:15 on 53% of our attention is added up on apps and social media. I also in parallel and researching this point in reading your book "Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook".

  9. Great talk. However I still do not understand the hatred of GV for "smart work" vs "hard work". Of course you need to put the hours and sweat + blood will always give you some advantage. But what about putting all your efforts in the right direction? It is just like working out. You take 2 guys. 1 is going to workout without a plan 3 hours a day with no rest. The other one 1 hour a day with rest days, method and good nutrition. I bet everything I got that the second guy will outperfom the first one, especially on the long run.
