Awesome Tip: What Does Happiness Look Like? | DailyVee 504

I genuinely don’t believe you need to be “hustling” or working 18 hours a day all the time.

I just believe you should back up your mouth.

So many have aspirations to build a successful business, but complain that they’re “tired after work” or “don’t want to work weekends.”

But I do think you should work to the point of burning out or sacrificing your happiness?

Of course not.

I wanted to create some clarity around this in today’s video – check it out and leave your two cents in the comments!

  1. I watch from 0:302:30 a lot.
I dissect it and try to attentively listen that initial conversation Gary is having with the guy.
You sir, have helped others either in your direct or indirect way. And that is why I have a love hate thing in your videos. Inevitably he still won because he got me watching that part and commenting.

  2. OMG I've been talking for YEARS about why people's lives TRANSFORM when there is an economic collapse! It's because they are forced to stop hiding their shit! There's nothing to lose! Their APPLECART has been disrupted! Lost your job? GREAT! Now you're going to get divorced and finally embrace your true calling… Let me explain… Here is an excerpt from an article I wrote over 5 years ago.

"The Applecart" You’ve probably heard the idiom, “Don’t upset the applecart,” and its warning not to disturb the way things are done for fear we might “mess them up.” Our culture encourages us to strive for mediocrity and the status quo…

We go about our lives collecting apples and piling them neatly into our carts. When the road gets bumpy our primary goal is to traverse the challenge unscathed—applecart intact. A tremendous amount of our energy goes into sustaining the applecart, discretely TUCKING ROTTEN ONES underneath shiny ones, afraid discarding the bad might cause too great a shift in the balance of the cart. When we encounter new apples we face them with intense skepticism, unwilling to bite into the unknown…

… As humans, we wait until we are pushed to the brink of extinction before we are willing to change, to evolve…

… And when the economy collapses, here's what happens…

… So many people are breathing a sigh of relief, often to their own surprise. No longer do they have to spend countless hours obsessing over their apples. No longer do they have to worry that someone might suspect, or even get a glimpse of, their rotten apples. No longer do they feel obligated to pass by apples that don’t neatly fit in their cart. It’s already upset, already “ruined.” So, now THERE'S NOTHING TO LOSE.

With nothing left to cling to, we finally let go.

Once the applecart has tipped, people begin to truly look at what they have been storing. They examine the decay and TOSS OUT the ones that no longer serve them – the relationships, the jobs, the locations, the stuff. And just like the fish that first crawled onto land because the environment pushed them to evolve, once people have reached this point, evolution takes over and kicks it up a notch. Once you start the process of change, more and more of it keeps happening. Before you know it you have completely transformed. AN YOU'RE HAPPIER!

  4. Watching this from the other side of the world.. Puerto Princesa City Palawan Phil. , before I hated our family business which is wholesaler and retailer of shrimps and crabs.. I was shy even to go to the market place with my parents.. I was motivated to finish my college degree to escape our family business.. After getting my diploma and started to get a 8AM to 5PM job I hated it! Now, I understand .. I tasted the employment and I dont want it.. A couple of weeks from now I will go back to my family and work out our family business helping my parents and doing it full time. Thanks @garyvee for your videos and your content!! I love it soo much!! Long live!! Much love and respect <3

  5. True happiness is stop caring what people think of you just do what you want to do. Don’t want to be married don’t get married. Want to be actor go become an actor stop living to “ society norm “ just live the life the way you want to live. We only have one life. Why waste your life on someone else standard of living

  6. For such a long time I wanted to be an entrepreneur and just didn't take enough action. Well now at 37 years old those days are behind me. I have such a burning desire to succeed now. 20 years into retirement of a 30 year plan with the J.O.B. and I want nothing more than to kick that to the curb. I'm releasing a video every day almost with a family of 7, fulltime job, there is no excuses. Love your content, and happiness is what makes you smile, so do it! Ryan
